Draw Your Face Off 2

This is a 6.5" x 6.5" drawing done in preparation for the Draw Your Face Off Event at Space last night. I wanted to know in advance what kind of drawings I would do during the event, so this test helped me decide. I don't have any images of the drawings I made during the event, but they all had this general look. I made ten drawings in four hours, and they all sold!
There was a huge turnout, as usual for Space on a First Friday. There was a funk of competition in the air. It felt odd and satisfying to be displayed like a dancing monkey. It was all very exciting and I would love to be a part of something like this again. Thanks to the Pine Haven Collective for inviting me to participate.

glass

I just acquired some glass stringers (wires) and I'm using my little smithy torch to do some rogue lampworking. This is the first time I've ever worked with hot glass (besides sand casting) and it sure looks like it. This 2" tall "scholars rock" was a blast to make, I can't wait to make something that looks good.

I'm sculpting a shell out of wax

This thing is actually grown by adding little blobs of molten wax which make up the striated texture. It is completely hollow. It is one inch long.
I didn't realize my scanner was so dusty, I guess I should clean it.
